Being Austrias leading PE-Recycler, Ecoplast and several more companies from plastics branch showed their participation at bvse’s “17. International Altkunststofftag”, taking place in Bad Neuenahr from June 3rd to June 4th 2014.
The main question of the event dealt with the mid- and longterm evolution of the European Plastics Recycling and – as a keypoint of this years meeting – the Austrian Recycling branch as one of the successful role models.
Based on many interesting talks in the Ecoplast booth we recognized a lot of interest for our products and a rising care for Post Consumer-Recyclates.
Another main point of the professionally organized event was the discussion headlining “Plastics and Environment”, in which our participant, Managing Director Reinhard Intemann, could point out that the recycling industry is lacking support from converters, producers as well as the legislative side, and that it is duly important to seperate waste streams such as “Bioplastics”, which contaminate the regular waste streams and obstruct recycling processes.
